well as a fantastic skiing destination..
We offer an inviting warm modern fully
self contained 1 bedroom cottage, set a short distance
from the main farm house for your total privacy, complete
with your own courtyard surrounded by a white picket
fence, where you can sit and watch the cows or sheep
and relax with a morning cup of coffee and listen to
the birds sing or watch the sun go down with a glass
of New Zealand’s finest wines.
Pukeko Cottage is ideal for those wanting a romantic
getaway or honeymoon suite, or for travellers seeking
comfortable affordability and privacy with the closeness
and easy access to the city centre and beaches.
We have 15 acres of farmland, nestled right beside the
Kaiapoi River, where you get to enjoy the solitude of
country life, yet having the city close at hand for
all your shopping needs and local activities. You can
wander the farm at your own leisure or have romantic
picnics under the trees, or just sit on our private
jetty and read a book or watch the wild life.
During calving and lambing season we have hands on feeding
or you can play with our pet lamb “Rocky”
or our miniature Kune Kune pig “Olli”, who
loves nothing more than a good belly scratch.
